Happy New Year Everybody!!!

This year is starting off interesting. I made my new years list and then looked over last years list and the few years before that and I noticed a reoccurring similarity  It was the fact that they were pretty pointless and compared to this years, not as important as I really thought that they were.  I guess that in the last year I have really grew up. With the year that I have had, growing up is the only way that I could get through.

I found this quote that I really like. By the way, I love quotes and poems that influence myself, and other people, or are interesting.

New Year's Resolution:To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.
                     James Agate

This is not really on my list, but  I enjoy this one. :)

Have a good new year and accomplish what you can dream of and more!!!!

Turquoise Stone and Sliver Stone Necklace With Round Clasp

Turquoise Stone and Sliver Stone Necklace With Round Clasp

The turquoise gemstone has deep meaning that goes back to ancient cultures. It has been used as a protection amulet by the Egyptians and as a symbol of wealth to the Native Americans. Then to the Aztec, the turquoise gems is magical and has illness healing powers. When you wear turquoise, it is believed to create peace, enhance friendships and protect you from negative energy.

This unique necklace is made from sliver and turquoise. There are two medium turquoise gems, six smaller ones and then three small ones. Then, there is one main focal turquoise gem that is off centered for a cute look. The sliver aspects are great additions to this beautiful necklace. There are also several different sizes of sliver pieces. Then to the overall look, there are small beads that are sliver and turquoise.

This is a princess style necklace. This means that it isn't tight to your neck but it is also not hanging far off of your neck. The necklace will look cute loosely around your neck.

Then the clasp is a unique look and way to clasp your necklace. The clasp is shaped in a circular way. you push in part of the clasp where it would be open wide enough to slip either one of the jump rings through it. There are two jump rings so that there is more flexibility when you are working the clasp.

When I made this necklace, is used several different things:
Turquoise gems-Different sizes
Sliver pieces- different sizes
Turquoise and sliver beads
Beading Wire
Jump rings
Hinge clasp

Have a happy and wonderful day!!

Thanksgiving and Being Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving!!!!

I really love thanksgiving don't you?  The pumpkin pie, green bean casserole, turkey and stuffing. There are also so many things to be thankful for.
Here is my list. I am thankful for:
*My Family- My Brothers Devin, Ross, Shawn, and Aaron, my sister- Robyn, my nephew-Brayden, My Mom, Step dad Wade and My grandparents and Aunt and Uncle on Wades side
        * All of my close friends, that is a long list. :)
        * The horses that we have- Cherokee, Flight, Tomcat and Secret
        *Our dogs-Thunder, Phyco
        *Our Cat- Meow Meow
*The other people that have been helpful through out the year and helped everything go smoothly

What are you Thankful for???

Ever since we were little we were taught the story of the pilgrims and Indians with the big harvest feast. Lately, well until yesterday, I hadn't heard the story. So i would like to tell the story and remind everyone of the wondrous time with family.

When the settlers came to america, food was scarce until the settlers me the Indians. The Indians taught the settlers how to farm and harvest their own food so that there would be food thought the winter. With a lot of hard work during the spring, summer and beginning of fall, there was a plethora of food for the settlers thought the winter and the settlers wanted to celebrate. The settler women cook things like turkey, cranberry sauce, yams, potato with gravy and pumpkin were very plentiful. Then, the men were outside finishing the collecting of the crops. When the food was cooked and the crops finished, the settlers invited the Indians to sit down and share a celebratory meal with them. They gave thanks to the Indians and mother nature for the food they were eating and the food for the winter. Hence, Thanksgiving.

Over the years there have been many cultures move to america with their own traditions and the one that mainly became apart of the culture of everyone is thanksgiving. I learned that every holiday, there are always gifts being given and with thanksgiving, mother nature is giving us the gift of a good harvest season.

Granny Square T-Shirt Crocheted Bag with a jean lining and one pockets

Granny Square T-Shirt Crocheted Bag with a jean lining and one pockets

I really enjoyed making this purse because it was made with T-Shirts and jeans. This bag can be used as a messenger style bag or a purse with a short handle. To make it have a shorter handle, the gaps in the bag come in handy. you slip part of the strap through one of the holes until you get the length that you want and the tightness of the holes keeps the strap there. I used a white t-shirt, a yellow shirt and dark blue and then light wash blue jeans.

My grandma taught me how to crochet when I was little. This was interesting and frustrating because she is left handed and I am right handed. The granny square was good for me to learn because it looks the right way on either side because as you do the rounds, you are turning it. From learning how to crochet, this is one of the easier ones to make because I crochet backwards and then turn the stuff around.

The front and back sides are made with a granny square with a pattern of three rows of dark blue, two rows of yellow and one gray row. Then the strap is white with a stitch that allowed there to be evenly spaced holes. The body of the bag is 10 inches by 10 inches. Then the strap of the bag is 46 inches long and roughly 1 inch wide. Then the width of the bag is roughly 1 inch. The pockets are divided into 2 parts.

The coupon code is thanksgiving

Try To Stand For Something Or You Will Fall For Anything
I really like this quote. Everybody needs something to stand for. I stand for having a good future, against child abuse, to never stop being creative and helping people. What do you stand for?

These are some new campaign things that I found that people stand  for and I agree with:

Intro To Me

HEY!!
To start I am going to introduce myself a little bit. Ever since I was little, my grandmother taught me many different crafting techniques and I love to share them with everybody. I enjoy being outside, hiking, camping and riding horses. I plan to go to college at Johnson and Wales University for baking and pastry arts.
During the summer I got a sewing machine and made many different things. I also spent many hours house sitting and ended up crocheting several thing and I am running out of room in my room for all of these things. So, I set up an Art fire account that can be found at
ExtraordinarylyYours - ArtFire Seller Shop
to sell the things that I have made.  Visit, look around and share please.

Then what I am going to do is every week, one day I am going to promote a website, shop,or blog. To be promoted, you have to email me at extraordinarylyyours@gmail.com and answer a few questions about what you want promoted.

          The questions are:
What is the name of your blog/shop/website?
  What do you want promoted?
Who inspired you to do this?
Name a few things about what it is that you do.
So, to start I will give the example of my shop.

Extraordinaryly Yours
My shop is filled with sewn, crochet, and jewelry items like these
Winter Essentals Frog Hand Warmers

Winter Essentials Frog Hand Warmers

During the winter, hands get cold and even in your pockets they will still get chilly.Buying the hand warmers from the store gets expensive. They are one use and cost a significant amount per hand warmer. These are reusable, many, many times. All you have to do is put them in the microwave for no more than thirty seconds and they will last around an hour or so. They are 3x3 1/2 inches and perfect for children when waiting for the bus stops, outside before school starts or even just when they are playing outside. For this set you get two hand warmers and a handwritten card with instructions. They are also filled with rice.

     They Cost $5.00

I have always been inspired by the people around me and my family. I always want to succeed at things that I do, so I put my best foot forward to do so.

There is my example. Comment, email me and visit my site please!!

Have a great rest of your day!!
